La Aurora 1903 Corojo Toro | Dominican Cigar 5 3/4 x 54
The 1903 Corojo is part of La Aurora's celebrated 1903 line, a tribute to the founding year of the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic, and this Corojo expression has earned multiple 90-plus point ratings from Cigar Aficionado. The blend features a Dominican Republic Corojo wrapper over a Dominican binder and a filler of Brazilian, Cameroon, and Nicaraguan tobaccos, all handmade in the Dominican Republic for a medium to full-bodied smoke that carries the full weight of that four-country blend from the first draw to the last.
Cedar and black pepper come charging through right at light, holding strong through the first two thirds alongside cream and coffee notes, with the creaminess of the Corojo wrapper weaving through the entire profile and complementing the coffee notes beautifully throughout. A bolder, spicier alternative to the Cameroon expression, the 1903 Corojo is the choice for smokers who want more pepper and complexity from one of the Dominican Republic's most iconic brands.
