Jungle Powders Raspberry Powder is an additive-free, freeze-dried whole-fruit powder that delivers concentrated raspberry flavor, color, and nutrients for baking, smoothies, and recipes.
Made from whole raspberries and processed with freeze-drying to retain flavor and nutritional components, this 3.5 ounce bag yields the intensity of fresh fruit without added sugar, fillers, or preservatives. The powder blends into dry mixes, batters, and cold preparations to provide natural raspberry color and taste while keeping shelf-stable convenience. Because the product is produced from whole fruit, both flesh and seeds contribute to the finished powder.
How will this raspberry powder change my baking and drinks?
It adds concentrated raspberry taste and vivid red color without extra liquid or sweeteners, useful when you want the fruit profile but not added moisture. The powder works well in cakes, frostings, protein shakes, and grain bowls; it won’t fully dissolve in water like a juice concentrate, so expect a textured, fruit-forward finish.
- Incorporate into dry mixes or sprinkle on yogurt for instant flavor
- Add one tablespoon to smoothies or batters for noticeable color and taste
- Use in frostings and ganache for natural tinting without artificial dyes
- Pairs with chocolate, vanilla, oats, and dairy-free milks
What does "whole-fruit" and "freeze-dried" mean for nutrition?
Whole-fruit powder is made from the entire raspberry, preserving compounds found in both the flesh and seeds. Freeze-drying removes water while keeping many heat-sensitive flavors and nutrients intact, concentrating the fruit so a small amount delivers more raw-raspberry character than the same weight of fresh berries.
- Concentrated: 3.5 oz powder represents the flavor of roughly 28 oz fresh raspberries
- Seed and flesh retained for fuller nutrient and aroma profile
- No added sugars or fillers; flavor comes solely from raspberries
- Lightweight and shelf-stable compared with fresh fruit
How should I store and measure the powder to keep quality?
Keep the bag sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct light to preserve color and aroma. Because freeze-dried fruit powders can sometimes clump, occasional gentle breaking is normal; a short time in the freezer followed by a light pounding will restore a finer texture.
- Reseal or transfer to an airtight container after opening
- A tablespoon provides a concentrated boost; adjust to taste
- If clumped, freeze two hours then crush to re-powder
- Store at room temperature away from humidity for best shelf life
Is this powder sweetened or mixed with other ingredients?
No—this product contains only freeze-dried raspberries and no added sweeteners, preservatives, or fillers. The flavor is the natural fruit profile, which may be less sweet than sugar-sweetened alternatives, letting you control added sugar in recipes.
- Guaranteed additive-free formulation
- Naturally tangy-sweet raspberry taste without sugar
- Clumping can occur because no anti-caking agents are used
- Ideal for clean-label recipes and flavor customization
Who is this for: home bakers, beverage makers, and food creators who want an easy, shelf-stable way to add authentic raspberry flavor and color without extra sugar or fillers. It suits people crafting natural-colored desserts, smoothie enthusiasts seeking whole-fruit powder, and small-batch producers who need a concentrated fruit extract that mixes into dry and semi-wet recipes. If you prefer precise control over sweetness and ingredient lists, this unsweetened freeze-dried raspberry powder gives you the fruit character of raspberries in a convenient pantry-ready form.
