Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia Extra Añejo is a historic and deeply significant expression — the world's first commercially released extra añejo tequila, originally created to commemorate the Cuervo family's 200-year tequila legacy. Produced at La Rojena Distillery in Tequila, Jalisco — the oldest active distillery in Latin America — Reserva de la Familia is made from 100% Blue Weber agave and aged in a combination of new and used American and French oak barrels, developing rich notes of oak, toasted almonds, vanilla, and cinnamon with a complex and smooth finish.
A piece of tequila history in every bottle — Reserva de la Familia is the expression that defined the extra añejo category and continues to set the standard for what long-aged agave can achieve. For the collector who wants to own a piece of Mexico's most storied tequila legacy.
