What flavor profile should I expect from the Mickey Blend?
The Mickey Blend is a medium roast built around bright, sweet citrus notes and a silky finish. It leans toward clarity rather than heavy chocolate or smoke, making it approachable for everyday drinking and pairing well with lighter breakfasts or desserts.
- Sweet citrus highlights with subtle fruit brightness
- Medium roast body—balanced, not overpowering
- Smooth, clean finish that reduces bitterness
- Designed for clarity in pour-over and drip methods
How should I brew this ground coffee for the best results?
As pre-ground coffee, the Mickey Blend is sized for standard drip machines but also performs well with cone pour-over brewers. Use fresh water just off boil and a 1:15–1:17 coffee-to-water ratio to let the citrus notes sing without becoming thin.
- Recommended grind use: drip machines and cone pour-over
- Suggested ratio: 1 gram coffee to 15–17 grams water
- Water temperature: 195–205°F (90–96°C) for optimal extraction
- Freshness tip: store sealed and use within a few weeks of opening
Where do the beans come from and how are they sourced?
Joffrey’s selects 100% Arabica beans from responsibly farmed regions, prioritizing relationships with growers who meet fair labor and sustainability standards. The company’s roastmaster blends and roasts beans to bring forward consistent flavor while supporting ethical sourcing practices.
- 100% Arabica green coffee for clarity and sweetness
- Partnerships with suppliers who prioritize fair compensation
- Roasted-to-order to preserve peak flavor and aroma
- Part of Joffrey’s Disney specialty coffee collection
