A supremely refined and luxuriously smooth Irish whiskey, Jameson 18 Year delivers mature complexity without excess. Deeply aromatic with polished oak influence and layered fruit character, it exemplifies age-built harmony and lends itself to contemplative sipping as well as elevated cocktails.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Distilled in Midleton, Ireland, at the historic Jameson Distillery, this 18-year expression showcases the hallmark spirit of Jameson elevated through nearly two decades of patient maturation. Created from a blend of pot still and fine grain whiskeys, every component is matured for at least 18 years in premium oak casks. The aging regime typically includes a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and sherry seasoned wood, fostering a rich interplay of fruit, spice, and wood complexity while preserving the inherent smoothness of Irish pot still distillate.
Throughout its long maturation, the spirit is shaped by slow interaction with seasoned oak—a process that softens raw edges, deepens aromatic layers, and builds textural nuance. The result is a whiskey that resonates with both refinement and depth, reflecting Jameson’s craftsmanship and its deep roots in Irish blending traditions.
