James Gin California Dreamgin' is an unconventional British gin created by James May. Distilled with mushroom, oregano and patchouli, it combines girolle mushroom's fruity, peppery character with earthy patchouli and savoury oregano. Coriander and lemon peel provide additional spice and citrus balance to its distinctive botanical profile.
Food Pairing: Pair with mushroom dishes, herb-roasted chicken, grilled vegetables, or savoury charcuterie.
Tasting Notes: Earthy, savoury and unconventional, combining fruity and peppery mushroom notes with woody patchouli, herbaceous oregano, citrus and spice.
Nose: Earthy and herbaceous with mushroom, patchouli and fresh botanical aromas.
Palate: Girolle mushroom brings light fruity and peppery notes with a hint of apricot, while oregano, coriander and lemon peel add savoury spice and citrus.
Finish: Earthy and persistent with woody patchouli and lingering herbaceous character.
Serve: Enjoy with tonic over ice or use in savoury and citrus-forward gin cocktails.
