The J Vineyards & Winery Non-Vintage (NV) sparkling wine is crafted in the dry Brut style, making it a refreshing choice for any occasion. This sparkling wine is made from grapes primarily sourced from the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, California, and comes in a standard 750ml bottle. It features a traditional Champagne-style blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, which creates a perfect balance between sweet and tart flavors.
The wine delights the senses with toasted almond on the nose, then Braeburn apple, ginger snap, and dried cranberry, along with hints of lemon meringue, brioche, and grilled bread. Made using the traditional method, it undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and rests on the lees for an extended period before disgorgement, developing a complex and layered character. Its bright, lively acidity makes it crisp, food-friendly, and ideal for pairing with appetizers such as oysters, crab, lobster, shrimp dumplings, and creamy cheeses.
Representing the winery’s signature blend and commitment to quality, the Cuvée 20 consistently earns high praise, with the current release scoring 91–94 points from critics such as James Suckling and The Wine Advocate. With an alcohol content of around 12.5% ABV, it is a versatile sparkling wine that brings elegance and sophistication to any celebration.
