Wine Description
The 2021 J Lohr Signature Cabernet Sauvignon is a bold and expressive red. Deep garnet in colour, it opens with aromas of cassis, violet, conifer, and hints of cedar. On the palate, layers of blackcurrant, dark chocolate fudge, and coffee cream intertwine with chai spice and subtle tobacco, all supported by firm tannins and a mouth-coating texture. Full-bodied and complex, the wine delivers a long, layered finish with remarkable balance and finesse.
Food Pairing
This Cabernet Sauvignon pairs beautifully with grilled ribeye steak, rosemary-crusted lamb, or braised short ribs. For a vegetarian option, try it with mushroom risotto or roasted root vegetables.
