"With striking blueberry and boysenberry flavors punctuated with black pepper, this Syrah nails all the variety’s strengths." - Mike Dunne, The 2020 Critics Challenge International Wine & Spirits competition bestowed upon our Isolde's Rapture Syrah the title of "Best Syrah" and we concur! This 95 point Syrah from Monterey represents everything wonderful about the cool climate region - in cooler weather, vines are able to slowly ripen which allows a well-rounded body and acidity to shine through. Winemakers tasted the wine constantly through fermentation, ensuring that the balance between texture and tannin was worthy of its Platinum medal. With lots of spice and flavors of dark fruit, this wine is perfectly bold.
