The Interpet PF2 is an internal power filter for coldwater and tropical aquariums up to 81 litres. Its four-stage filtration removes particulate waste, odours and toxic chemicals, with adjustable flow and directional control.

How to Use
- Immerse the unit to the correct level, using the line on the unit as a guide.
- Each month, carry out a 25% water change and clean the foam and ceramic media in water taken from the aquarium. Replace the carbon and fine filter foam.
- Every three months, clean the impeller and impeller chamber in fresh water.
- Regularly change aquarium water and remove debris with an aquarium gravel cleaner siphon.
- If the filter is noisy, turn down the venturi or site the filter lower in the aquarium to submerge the venturi. Use the flow deflector so the water flow ripples the surface for aeration. Check and clean the impeller with a soft cloth; use a small brush or cloth to remove debris from the impeller chamber. Inspect the impeller magnet for cracks or missing pieces and replace the impeller if damaged.

If it is not situated in the water at the correct level this can lead to the product being noisy and even to overheat. The unit must also be cleaned and maintained as per the instructions included with the product. It can become noisy and vibrate if it is blocked and not maintained correctly
