Privada Storytelling
From Cuban Roots to Nicaraguan Craft
HVC Selección No. 1 Natural marks a milestone as one of the first cigars produced in Reinier Lorenzo’s new factory. It builds upon the original maduro version by showcasing a silky Ecuador Habano ’92 wrapper over a robust Nicaraguan core. The intention was to refine a bold blend into something smoother, elegant, and rooted in tobacco purity. It’s a homecoming–homage blend that speaks of legacy, craft, and place.
Flavor Journey
First third: Rich tobacco and earth dominate with cedar and mixed pepper aroma
Middle third: Earth deepens, pepper picks up alongside lingering fruit and coffee notes
Final third: Strength holds steady, natural tobacco bittersweetness remains, leather and cedar round the finish
Why It Belongs in Privada
This blend embodies refinement—bold roots transformed by intention. It's not about flash; it’s about evolution. HVC took its debut factory blend and softened its edges without losing its soul. The result is a bold, balanced smoke that rewards attention but never overstates. That purposeful transformation matches Privada's philosophy.
