91 points, Halfweel
The Hoyo de Monterrey Primaveras is the ultimate expression of celebratory luxury. The choice of the Hermosos No. 1 vitola is inspired; its 6⅝" length offers an expansive canvas that allows the characteristically light and aromatic Hoyo de Monterrey blend to develop with unprecedented depth and evolution. This cigar yields a generous volume of cool, velvety smoke that delivers a complex coffee-and-cream sweetness without ever overpowering the palate. Presented in a striking red-and-gold lacquered box containing 18 impeccably constructed cigars, the Primaveras is a stunning tribute to craftsmanship and a must-have investment piece with magnificent ageing potential.
