An unexpected immersion of the senses – and extremely pleasurable in every nuanced note. Generous, warm and sweetly spiced – a journey down this road of silk will yield boons in flavour.
This lusciously mature Single Grain whisky combines a silky smooth, generous mouthfeel with hints of exotic spice such as star anise to take the drinker on a journey through the silk roads of old. The perfect partner for an indulgent dessert it is at once sweet, perfumed and gently drying with satisfying, aromatic notes of warm spice.
Nose
The nose conjures aromas found within bazaars and souks - vibrantly aromatic with notes of dried herbs and aniseed.
Palate
The palate moves into notes of freshly-made leather, transported straight from the tanneries. The earthy smell is then tempered by the presence of astringent, yet, sweet liquorice root.
