Unashamed decadence in its depth, this outstanding sherry bomb is one to keep under lock and key until the house falls quiet in the latest hours of the night. Only then is safe to savour, as an indulgence such as this always disappears all too soon.
Combining the traditional rich, dark, intense character of heavily sherried malt whisky with the lusciously generous mouthfeel and compelling sweetness of greatly aged grain to create a sherry bomb quite unlike any other. Decadent, rich and dangerously drinkable. the perfect companion for an after-hours dram.
Nose
With such a namesake, you could be forgiven for believing this whisky is a gentle character. But, looks can be deceiving with a nose that is big, bold and deeply rich in blackberries, raspberries and other dark fruits, swiftly moving into a sugary strawberry jam sweetness.
Palate
The palate is warming, with sticks of sweetly spiced cinnamon, underpinned with a moreish mulled wine character, concluding on a slightly dry finish.
