Hornitos Black Barrel is the most highly awarded expression in the Hornitos lineup — a 100% Blue Weber agave añejo from Jalisco that goes through a distinctive three-stage aging process designed to build extraordinary depth and complexity. It starts as a premium aged añejo, then spends four months in deep charred oak barrels to develop rich, smoky flavor and a golden amber color, before finishing two additional months in specially toasted barrels for even more depth and distinct complexity. The result is a bold, layered añejo with a character that stands apart from conventional expressions — smoky, rich, and genuinely impressive.
Three stages, six extra months, and award-winning results — Hornitos Black Barrel is the bold, smoky añejo for the drinker who wants more from their aged tequila.
