The Henri de Villamont Prestige Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2022 originates from the Burgundy region of France, classified under the regional Bourgogne AOC. Domaine Henri de Villamont is based in Savigny-lès-Beaune, operating out of historic 19th-century cellars. The estate's "Prestige" regional release is designed as an elevated introduction to the house style, benefiting from fruit sourced across prime Burgundian subregions—including parcels in the Côte de Beaune and Vosne-Romanée—to deliver true Côte-d'Or sophistication at an approachable regional tier.
Wine Description
In the glass, the wine exhibits a luminous, bright ruby-red colour with subtle violet reflections. The nose is fragrant and expressive, opening with aromas of ripe red raspberries, wild strawberries, and red cherries, layered alongside delicate floral violet notes, subtle cedar, and light cinnamon spice. On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with a fine, silky texture and a fruit-forward core. Balanced by fresh, vibrant acidity and smooth, gentle tannins, it transitions into a clean finish marked by lingering red berries, soft forest floor, and a touch of light oak warmth.
