Hennessy X.O Cognac Lunar New Year Shuting Qiu Edition celebrates the legacy of Emile Fillioux's 1870 creation, an "Extra Old" blend crafted for Maurice Hennessy. This iconic cognac, originating from Cognac, France, is renowned for its powerful and balanced profile, cherished for over 150 years as a symbol of sophistication and shared moments. This special edition honors the Year of the Snake with a stunning design by Shuting Qiu, inspired by traditional Chinese silk artistry and adorned with floral patterns in a rich red-to-purple gradient satin finish.
The cognac itself showcases a deep amber hue with copper highlights, offering an enticing aroma of dried fruits, dark chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg, and subtle oak. On the palate, its velvety texture reveals layers of prunes, figs, roasted nuts, and black pepper, harmonized with warm spices and dried fruits. The exceptionally long and warm finish carries lingering notes of cocoa, spice, and leather, providing a refined and luxurious tasting experience.
Hennessy X.O Shuting Qiu Edition is best savored neat or with a splash of water to unveil its intricate layers. Its bold flavors pair beautifully with dark chocolate desserts or a fine cigar, making it an exceptional choice for moments of indulgence and celebration. Encased in an artful gift box, this limited edition is a collectible masterpiece for both cognac enthusiasts and connoisseurs of fine design.
