Haruomi Hosono, the pioneering Japanese musician, producer, composer, and founding member of Yellow Magic Orchestra and Happy End, presents his 23rd studio album, Yours Sincerely. This marks his first collection of new music in over seven years, showcasing Hosono's continued exploration of his distinctive songcraft. The album delves into the concept of a maternal force that envelops the Earth, exploring humanity's understanding of unconditional love. Across arrangements that blend tender psych-folk and avant-pop, Hosono taps into deeply buried instincts of maternal compassion and mercy.

Hosono's five-decade legacy continues to resonate, influencing a new generation of artists such as Mac DeMarco, Vampire Weekend, and Harry Styles. His work, shaped by mid-century American music, now reverberates back through contemporary Western artists, creating a remarkable circular exchange.
