The Gurkha Ghost Maduro series was a massive hit right from day one, and the blockbuster Ghost Gold Habano soon followed. The Ghost Connecticut series completes one of the cigar world's most tantalizing trios with a smooth and mellow character that all levels of taste and experience can enjoy. All Ghost Connecticut cigars, including the 6" x 54 Ghost Connecticut Asura, are perfectly proportioned to get the most out of the exquisitely blended tobaccos.
The Gurkha Ghost Connecticut Asura's hefty core comprises Nicaraguan, Dominican, and USA-grown filler tobaccos. A Mexican binder leaf holds the mixture together. While the Ghost and Ghost Gold use dark and mysterious wrappers, this smoke brings the ghostly creation into the light with a brightly hued Connecticut-seed wrapper from Ecuador.
The Ghost Connecticut Asura is handmade in the Dominican Republic by Abe Flores' PDR Cigars and offers beautiful construction and optimal draw. Toast, cashew, cinnamon, sweet cream, and honey flavors form first impressions. Bursts of cedar, earth, and spice become more prevalent as the mild-medium smoke progresses, with buttery influences providing balance to hints of pepper on the backend.
The Ghost Connecticut Asura is a fantastic addition to the Ghost portfolio, providing a silky, refined character for all to enjoy. For those keen on a hauntingly satisfying Ghost triple play, the Ghost Connecticut Asura slides perfectly into the morning slot, with the Ghost Gold ideally suited for late afternoon and the original Ghost for the shadows of the night.
