This structured and 'crystalline' sparkling wine originates from the United States, within the high-altitude, cool-climate microclimates of New Mexico. Founded in 1889 in Champagne, France, the Gruet family relocated their sparkling winemaking operations to New Mexico in 1984, recognizing the region's exceptional potential for traditional method sparkling production. Sourced from choice high-elevation vineyards situated between 1,300 and 1,700 meters (4,300 to 5,500 feet) above sea level in the Middle Rio Grande Valley and Elephant Butte regions, the vines are rooted in sandy-loam, gravelly, and calcium-rich alluvial soils. The extreme high-altitude environment features intense solar radiation by day balanced by drastic night-time temperature drops (diurnal shift), allowing Pinot Noir to achieve complete phenolic maturity while locking in a razor-sharp, mouthwatering natural acidity.

The Gruet Brut Rosé presents a luminous, pale garnet-pink color in the glass with vivid coral reflections and a fine, persistent, and energetic stream of delicate bubbles (mousse). Its sensory profile is exceptionally fresh, high-toned, and complex, delivering an expressive, fruit-forward, yet elegant portrait of American high-altitude traditional method sparkling wine. The bouquet opens with an inviting display of fresh wild pink raspberries, wild strawberries, and tart red cherries, seamlessly layered with delicate underlays of orange zest, white floral blossoms, freshly baked brioche, and a subtle line of crushed stone minerality. On the palate, the wine is light-to-medium-bodied, sleek, and precisely focused, showcasing a vibrant core of crunchy red stone fruits, citrus peel, and autolytic warmth. It is characterized by its outstanding inner energy and an incisive, mouthwatering backbone of natural acidity that cuts cleanly through the mid-palate fruit density.
