Green Spot Chateau Leoville Barton Bordeaux Finish Irish Whiskey
This refined single pot still Irish whiskey is a collaboration between two historic Irish families - Mitchell & Son and the Barton family of Bordeaux. Initially matured in traditional sherry and bourbon casks, this special edition is then finished in French oak wine casks from the prestigious Chateau Leoville Barton estate.
- The nose opens with crisp oak, floral notes, ripe berries and orchard fruit
- The palate reveals vanilla sweetness, dry apple, French oak, spice and barley grain complexity
- The finish is long and warming, with fading oak, wine notes and classic pot still spice
Pair this whiskey with grilled lamb, duck breast or hard cheeses like Comte and aged Cheddar. The French oak and red berry tones also make it an ideal companion for berry-based desserts or rich fruitcake. A perfect choice for those seeking a sophisticated whiskey with depth, balance and a Bordeaux twist.
