Dare Candy Co Original Scotch Mints are chewy-centered confections encased in a crisp, minty shell for a smooth, refreshing bite.
These classic Scotch Mints combine a soft, chewy interior with a hard, mint-flavored coating for balanced texture and lasting flavor. Made with natural colors and flavors in Canada, this 700 g pack is designed for sharing at gatherings, topping up a candy jar, or keeping at the office for quick breath refreshment. The presentation is simple and familiar: eye-catching mint pieces that deliver a cooling finish without being overpowering.
What makes these Scotch Mints different from other mint candies?
Unlike uniformly hard mints, Dare Candy Co's Scotch Mints have a contrasting texture — a tender center surrounded by a hard, minty shell. That combination gives a satisfying initial crunch followed by a softer chew, making the candy feel more substantial and longer-lasting.
- Dual texture: crisp outer shell and chewy inner center
- Natural colors and flavors only
- Made in Canada by a family-owned manufacturer
- 700 g value pack for sharing or refilling dispensers
How can I use these mints at events or in daily life?
The 700 g bag is sized for social occasions and high-traffic spots. Use them as a simple dessert-table treat, a reception favor, or a counter candy where guests can help themselves; they also serve well as a midday palate refresher or post-meal mint.
- Serve in bowls at dinner parties or receptions
- Keep a jar at reception desks, cafes, or offices
- Include in goodie bags or event candy stations
- Store in a tin for on-the-go breath refreshment
Are these mints suitable for those avoiding artificial ingredients?
Yes. The recipe uses only natural colors and natural mint flavoring, which can be preferable for shoppers seeking simpler ingredient lists. Always check the full ingredient label on the pack for allergens or dietary restrictions specific to your needs.
- Natural flavors and natural colorants
- Simple ingredient profile compared to heavily artificial candies
- Manufactured in Canada—see packaging for allergen info
- Great for consumers preferring familiar, traditional candies
How should I store the mints to keep them fresh?
Store the unopened bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight; heat and humidity can soften the shell. After opening, reseal the bag or transfer the mints to an airtight container to preserve texture and flavor for longer.
- Keep at room temperature in a dry location
- Airtight container after opening extends freshness
- Avoid heat sources to maintain the hard shell
- Ideal for pantry storage or sealed candy jars
Who is this for: Dare Candy Co Original Scotch Mints are ideal for people who appreciate classic confections with contrasting textures — hosts and event planners who need a reliable, crowd-pleasing sweet; office managers and retailers looking for a popular counter item; and individuals who want a natural-flavored mint for casual breath freshening.
