Wine Description
Grant Burge Shiraz Barossa Ink pours a deep, inky purple, living up to its evocative name. On the nose, it bursts with aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry, and plum, interwoven with dark chocolate, vanilla, and subtle spice from oak maturation. The palate is plush and full-bodied, delivering layers of dark berry compote, mocha, and hints of clove, all framed by velvety tannins. A long, satisfying finish carries nuances of toasted oak and sweet spice, enhancing the wine’s luxurious mouthfeel.
Food Pairing
Pair this opulent Shiraz with grilled ribeye steak, rosemary lamb chops, or a hearty beef stew. For a vegetarian option, try it alongside mushroom risotto or eggplant parmigiana. Together, they create an unforgettable dining experience, amplifying the wine’s depth and velvety richness.
