Grady's Cold Brew New Orleans Style is an all-in-one cold brew mini kit: two ready-to-steep 100% Arabica coffee and chicory bean bags that make up to six chilled drinks with no special equipment.
Bring a touch of New Orleans to your countertop: this kit blends imported French chicory with 100% Arabica beans and a hint of spice for a naturally sweeter, fuller flavor. The single-use bean bags steep in cold water for 12–24 hours to yield a refrigerator-stable concentrate that dilutes to your preferred strength. Vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, and sugar-free, the mini kit is designed for easy, no-mess cold brewing at home, at the office, or on the road.
How do I make cold brew with these bean bags?
Steeping is simple and requires no special gear: place a bag in cold water, wait, and refrigerate. The concentrate will develop over 12–24 hours; remove the bag when the strength matches your taste and store the finished brew in the fridge for up to two weeks.
- Use a pitcher or jar; one bag per 32–48 fl oz of water for mild to strong concentrate.
- Steep 12 hours for lighter flavor, 24 hours for full-bodied richness.
- Remove bag, pour concentrate over ice, or dilute with water, milk, or a milk alternative.
- Keep refrigerated up to 14 days for best freshness.
What does the coffee taste like and how is chicory used?
The blend pairs smooth 100% Arabica coffee with imported French chicory, which brings a toasted, slightly nutty and naturally sweet note that rounds out the cup. The added touch of spice boosts complexity without added sugar, producing a balanced, full-bodied concentrate that works hot or cold.
- Arabica beans provide clean acidity and aromatic clarity.
- French chicory adds roasted, earthy sweetness and depth.
- Subtle spice enhances the flavor profile without masking coffee character.
- Finished concentrate tastes great black or with dairy alternatives.
How versatile is this cold brew concentrate in everyday use?
Concentrate made from Grady's Cold Brew bean bags adapts to many recipes—dilute for iced coffee, blend into smoothies, use as a baking ingredient, or spike for cocktails. Its strong, concentrated profile means a little goes a long way, delivering about six drinks from this mini kit at exceptional value.
- Mix 1:1 with water or milk for standard iced coffee strength.
- Add to lattes, frappes, or protein shakes for flavor and caffeine.
- Use as a baking liquid in cakes, brownies, or barbecue sauces for coffee depth.
- Perfect for cocktails—pair with spirits or make coffee-forward mocktails.
How does this kit save time and money compared to coffee shops?
This mini kit brews while you sleep—set it up once and have concentrate ready for days without queuing for takeaway coffee. At roughly one dollar per drink, it’s a cost-effective alternative to daily coffee runs and simplifies routine beverage prep.
- One kit makes about six drinks, with concentrate lasting up to two weeks refrigerated.
- No equipment purchase needed—just cold water and a container.
- Prep in advance for grab-and-go mornings and offices.
- Low-calorie and sugar-free base lets you control additions and calories.
