Glenmorangie 12 Year Old Palo Cortado Finish Whisky
Part of Glenmorangie’s Barrel Select Release series, ageing this single malt for a total of 12 years. Eight years in American white oak bourbon barrels, followed by four years in ultra-rare Palo Cortado sherry casks.
- Sweet and inviting aromas of toffee, fudge, and vanilla, layered with hints of moss, mulled wine, ginger, chocolate, and cinnamon
- A luxurious medley of treacle toffee and milk chocolate, interwoven with clove, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and fruity undertones. Subtle hints of rye bread and salted nuts add depth
- Long, nutty, and spicy, with whispers of leather and a touch of aniseed, delivering a warming, elegant conclusion
Enjoy this refined single malt with food pairings such as dark chocolate tart, nutty cheeses, or charcuterie with spiced chutney. It also complements slow-cooked lamb dishes or rich fruitcakes, enhancing both sweet and savoury profiles.
A rare Highland whisky finished in Palo Cortado sherry casks, it’s a must-try for collectors and fans of sherry-cask maturation.
