Bright ruby with a lively sheen. It looks as though it has somewhere important to be, which tracks nicely with its energy in the glass.
Aroma
Fresh red cherry leads, joined by raspberry, blood orange zest, and a flutter of rose. Hints of wet stone, tea leaf, and gentle spice sit underneath. The whole thing feels lifted and precise, like a well-timed opening line in a good play.
Palate
Silky attack with brisk acidity adding tension. The fruit is vivid—red cherry, pomegranate, a trace of cranberry—with savoury herbs and fine-grained tannins giving structure. Those tannins are youthful but courteous, promising a graceful future. The finish carries citrus peel, mineral notes, and a subtle savoury echo.
Overall Impression
A bright, elegant expression from Giodo, already delicious but clearly built with refinement in mind. It strikes a balance between vibrancy and poise, making it equally suited to a special meal or a relaxed evening when you simply want a wine that behaves beautifully.
