Besides being cigar aficionado favorites, the Oliva family is also the top name in tobacco farming, providing some of the finest tobaccos for an ever-growing list of your favorite cigar brands. And the man who solidified the Oliva reputation now gets the tribute he deserves with the stunning Gilberto Oliva Reserva Blanc 550.
With a reach stretching from Honduras to the Philippines and back to Panama, Mexico and Nicaragua, Gilberto Oliva, Sr. helped bring tobacco farming into the modern age and the cigar that bears his name beautifully shows off the signature lusciousness of an Oliva cigar with supple Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, an Ecuadorian binder leaf and a gorgeous Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper leaf.
The mellow and tasty Gilberto Oliva Reserva Blanc 550 is a fantastically balanced 5” x 50 smoke featuring a delicious mixture of cedar and nut flavors which are joined by ribbons of cream and butter throughout, making for a truly gratifying 45 minute or so smoke.
The perfect tribute to the Oliva family patriarch who married tobacco farming science with the art of making cigars, the Gilberto Oliva Reserva Blanc 550 is simply a must for those who desire a touch of elegance, whether Oliva fans or Connecticut wrapper aficionados alike.
