Gesha coffee, often linked to Panama, actually hails from Ethiopia, its true origin. We're excited to feature Gesha Village lot #120, known for its signature floral and fruity notes—a hallmark of Gesha Village coffees.
This coffee is produced by the same producer as Purple Haze, Gesha Village and Oma Gesha, so if you enjoyed any of these, this will float your boat.
ABOUT GESHA VILLAGE
Gesha Village Coffee Estate is a 471 hectare Coffee farm in the Bench Maji zone of Ethiopia. Gesha Village started off in 2007 as a project to make a documentary on Ethiopian coffee. The idea to start coffee farming in Ethiopia quickly came into their conversations shortly afterwards.
After a long search they found an untouched piece of land with the perfect conditions to grow coffee near the Gori Gesha forest, which is a site of Panamian Geisha Discovery in the 1930's. They worked tirelessly to convert this piece of land to a fully operational farm and started cultivating wild Gesha plants from the Gori Gesha Forest.
