Garrison Brothers Oloroso Sherry Cask Finished Bourbon — Single Barrel Cask Strength
Ranch Reserve Series, Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in an Oloroso Sherry Cask
Garrison Brothers Oloroso Cask Strength Single Barrel is a sherry-finished Ranch Reserve bourbon bottled at barrel proof. This Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey spent four years in toasted and charred white American oak, then four more in Oloroso sherry casks from Spain. The result is bold, balanced and built for slow sipping, with notes of roasted pecan, tobacco and dried fig unfolding in rich layers.
Where sweeter sherry finishes can soften and lushen, Oloroso sharpens and defines. It leans nutty, dry and elegant, lifting the darker, oak-driven notes already in the whiskey and adding depth without taking over, for a mature, contemplative profile that still lets the Texas backbone shine through. Because every bottle comes a single barrel at cask strength, proof varies by barrel, ranging from 126 to 136 proof.
Tasting Notes
Roasted pecan, tobacco and dried fig, with a nutty, dry and elegant sherry character layered over rich, oak-driven Texas bourbon, finishing with the depth and intensity of barrel proof.
