The Hapi Sessions 2023, a hat-trick of collaborations from three breweries at the absolute top of their game, each showcasing a different hop forward beer in a playful ‘freestyle’ interpretation of the style that put them on the map.
All round good humans Humble Sea, from surf city Santa Cruz make the haze roll in with what they lovingly call a foggy IPA. Absurd quantities of oats and lavish layers of US Citra, Freestyle-grown Nelson Sauvin and SubZero Hop Kief create an impenetrably hazy brew with a huge, dense tropical citrus-smash aroma. Available exclusively online and in Garage Project venues.
Nick Pavlina from Humble Sea Brewing Co summed up their slick operation with eloquence: "We are a tiny crew of kooks trying our hardest to firstly, get pitted on the reg, and secondly (and arguably more importantly) make the best beery liquid known to humankind. We’re here to forge new trails on the path of kookiness. We’re here to have an open conversation with our community about how to better our product, our team, and the world around us through equity, acceptance and fun."
