Gaia Assyrtiko Monograph Peloponnese
This is a Greek white wine made from Assyrtiko, grown in limestone soils in the semi-mountainous commune of Koutsi, Nemea. Gaia Estate was founded in 1994 by Leon Karatsalos and Yiannis Paraskevopoulos, pioneers of modern Greek winemaking.
Fermented in stainless steel with no oak, the wine is vegan and made to highlight Assyrtiko’s vibrant acidity and mineral character. The style is youthful and refreshing.
- Opens with aromas of lime zest, honeysuckle and tropical fruit.
- The palate is crisp and lively with notes of green apple, citrus and pineapple.
- Finishes dry and mineral with a clean, zesty lift.
Pairs well with grilled seafood, fresh salads or light vegetarian dishes.
