Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf
Binder: San Andres Mexican
Filler: Esteli Jalapa/Jamastran
Profile: Full
The Tabernacle Broadleaf from Foundation Cigars is a bold, heritage-driven cigar built around one of the most revered wrapper leaves in the world. A dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper crowns the blend, delivering depth and intensity from the first draw. Beneath it lies a rich San Andrés Mexican binder and a complex filler core sourced from Nicaragua and Honduras, specifically Estelí, Jalapa, and Jamastrán, chosen for balance, strength, and nuance.
This is a full-bodied cigar that showcases classic, old-world character with layered notes of dark chocolate, espresso, cedar, earth, and warming spice. Dense smoke, firm structure, and refined power define the experience, making it ideal for seasoned smokers who appreciate traditional craftsmanship with modern precision.
A true homage to the cigars of generations past, the Tabernacle Broadleaf stands as one of Foundation’s most respected blends: rich, expressive, and unmistakably serious in both flavor and intent.
