The Foundation Highclere Castle Senetjer is an exceptional release from Foundation Cigar Company, created in collaboration with Highclere Castle to commemorate one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in history—the discovery of King Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922.
The cigar pays tribute to the 5th Earl of Carnarvon, who, alongside archaeologist Howard Carter, helped uncover the ancient Egyptian pharaoh's tomb after more than 3,000 years. The name Senetjer comes from the ancient Egyptian word for incense, meaning "that which makes holy," reflecting the cigar's inspiration from the sacred aromas and traditions of ancient Egypt.
Expertly crafted in an elegant 6 3/4 x 52 Perfecto format, the Senetjer features a carefully selected seventh-priming Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Brazilian Mata Fina binder, and an undisclosed blend of premium filler tobaccos. This distinctive combination delivers a medium-strength smoking experience designed to capture the essence of ancient incense and the sophistication associated with Highclere Castle.
One of the most remarkable features of the Senetjer is its elaborate packaging. Each 12-count box is designed as an exact replica of a storage chest discovered inside King Tutankhamun's tomb, making it a particularly impressive presentation for cigar enthusiasts and collectors alike.
Combining historical significance, distinctive craftsmanship, and an exclusive tobacco blend, the Highclere Castle Senetjer represents a unique addition to Foundation Cigar Company's celebrated portfolio.
