Privada Storytelling
Step back in time to a cigar crafted not just with tobacco, but with reverence. Highclere Castle Edwardian is the original blend from Nick Melillo’s regal collaboration with the Earl of Carnarvon, inspired by the cigars enjoyed by British nobility in the early 1900s. This is a Connecticut Shade cigar with posture—elegant, balanced, but never meek. In Privada, we hunt for blends that carry history in their draw, and this one does so with white gloves and perfect posture. It’s Downton Abbey meets volcanic soil, and the result is unforgettable refinement.
Flavor Journey
The cigar opens with smooth vanilla cream and soft white pepper, supported by fresh cedar and graham cracker. As it burns, notes of hay, light butter, and sweet bread gently unfold. A touch of citrus zest and herbal tea offers lift and complexity in the midsection. The final third is delicate but deep—almond, toast, and gentle spice lingering like the last pages of an old novel. The profile is light in strength but full in character, a slow waltz through English gardens and Nicaraguan valleys.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Because the Edwardian is more than a cigar—it’s an invitation. An invitation to slow down, to appreciate grace, and to savor detail. It captures a lost style of smoking, built on subtlety and poise. In Privada, we value boldness—but we never forget that quiet mastery can be just as powerful. This is a cigar for thinkers, for dreamers, for those who enjoy the finer things without needing to announce them.
