Forty Creek Founder’s Reserve 10th Annual Limited Edition is a special-release Canadian whisky created to commemorate the 10th annual Forty Creek limited edition and honour founder John K. Hall. Produced in Niagara, Ontario, it blends separately distilled rye, corn and barley whiskies matured in American white oak. Bottled at 45% ABV, the barley-forward blend brings apricot and orange to the nose, followed by exotic spice, caramel, vanilla, honey and pepper with a long, dry finish.
Food Pairing: Roast pork, grilled steak, aged cheddar, roasted nuts, orange-glazed dishes, or caramel and dried-fruit desserts.
Tasting Notes: Rich and barley-forward, combining apricot and orange with caramel, vanilla, honey, exotic spice and peppery oak.
Nose: Rich and aromatic, with apricot and orange alongside sweet grain, vanilla and gentle oak.
Palate: Full and balanced, with barley grain, caramel, honey and orange joined by exotic spice, apple and pepper.
Finish: Long and dry, with peppery spice, clove, oak and lingering candied orange peel.
Serve: Enjoy neat or over ice, or use in an Old Fashioned to complement its rich fruit, spice and oak character.
