This canister holds Folgers’ Gourmet Supreme ground coffee, a thoughtfully roasted blend created by experienced Roast Masters to deliver a bold cup with smooth finish. The ground format lets you brew quickly with your preferred method, and the AromaSeal canister helps preserve freshness after roasting. It’s positioned as an everyday coffee that adds depth to morning routines and is also recommended for full-immersion brewing techniques like French press and cold brew.
What does the flavor profile taste like?
Expect a medium-dark roast character: the beans are roasted long enough to bring forward caramelized sweetness and roasted notes while retaining enough acidity for balance. The result is a rounded, robust cup with a noticeable depth and a lingering finish that complements milk or cream.
- Medium-dark roast brings toasted, caramel, and light chocolate notes
- Full-bodied mouthfeel for a satisfying sip
- Balanced acidity that doesn’t overpower the roast
- Finishes smoothly, adaptable with milk or black
How should I brew Folgers Gourmet Supreme for best results?
This ground coffee is versatile across common home methods. It works well in automatic drip machines for convenience, and its grind is particularly suited to French press and cold brew where extended contact time highlights the blend’s deeper flavors.
- Use medium-coarse grind for French press, steep 4 minutes
- Cold brew: steep in cool water 12–20 hours for concentrated flavor
- Drip machines: follow 1–2 tablespoons per 6 fl oz water, adjust strength to taste
- Store in a cool, dry place and reseal the canister after use
How many cups will a 10.3-ounce canister make, and how long does it stay fresh?
A 10.3-ounce canister yields roughly the equivalent of up to 90 six-fluid-ounce servings at a moderate strength—actual yield varies by scoop size and preferred brew strength. The AromaSeal canister helps lock in aroma and slows staling, but for peak flavor consume within a few weeks of opening and keep it sealed between uses.
- Suggested yield: up to 90 servings at 6 fl oz, strength level 6
- Freshness preserved by AromaSeal canister; reseal after each use
- For best flavor, use within weeks of opening and avoid heat or moisture
Is this coffee suitable for everyday drinking or special preparations?
Folgers Gourmet Supreme is designed for regular use and also shines in specialty preparations where richer extraction is desired. The robust, full-bodied makeup makes it an excellent choice for morning routines, café-style recipes at home, and chilled or concentrated brews.
- Reliable everyday coffee for drip makers and single-serve setups
- Recommended for French press and cold brew to highlight depth
- Pairs well with milk, cream, or syrups for lattes and café drinks
- Good option to keep on hand as a versatile pantry staple
Who is this for? Coffee drinkers who enjoy a richer-than-medium roast that still keeps balanced acidity will appreciate Folgers Gourmet Supreme. It’s aimed at people who want a dependable, full-flavored ground coffee for daily brewing and those who like to experiment with French press or cold brew methods without buying separate beans or equipment.
