Few Bourbon Whiskey is a distinctive craft bourbon from Few Spirits, one of Chicago's trailblazing urban distilleries that has helped redefine American whiskey production outside of Kentucky. This small-batch bourbon is crafted from a carefully selected mash bill of corn, rye, and malted barley, then distilled in traditional copper pot stills and aged in new charred American oak barrels to develop its rich character. What sets Few apart is its bold approach to bourbon-making, creating a spirit with more assertive rye spice than typical bourbons while maintaining the sweetness and smoothness that define the category. The result is a modern, grain-forward bourbon that honors tradition while embracing the innovation and craftsmanship that characterize the contemporary craft distilling movement, making it perfect for those who appreciate bourbon with personality and edge.
On the nose, Few Bourbon reveals inviting aromas of vanilla, caramel, and honey with noticeable spicy rye notes, hints of cinnamon, and toasted oak. The palate delivers a well-rounded experience where sweet corn and butterscotch flavors meet bold rye spice, creating a dynamic balance between smoothness and heat with layers of pepper, baking spices, and charred oak that add complexity. The finish is warm and satisfying with lingering spice, oak tannins, and sweet vanilla notes that fade gracefully. The elevated rye content makes it versatile enough to stand up beautifully in classic bourbon cocktails like Old Fashioneds and Whiskey Sours while offering enough depth and character for enjoyable neat sipping or over ice. Whether you're exploring craft bourbons beyond the traditional distilling regions, seeking a mixing bourbon with genuine backbone, or simply want to support independent distilling innovation, Few Bourbon Whiskey delivers bold Chicago craftsmanship with authentic bourbon soul in every bottle.
