Brewed in the heart of the Canadian Rockies in British Columbia, Fernie Brewing Co. is a family-owned craft brewery that began in a small barn in 2003. The brewery is dedicated to using high-quality malted barley, European hops, and fresh mountain spring water, with a philosophy centered on small-batch production and no preservatives. As a staple of BC's 'mountain culture', this brewery is managed by local 'powder-chasing' enthusiasts who emphasize quality and community in every brew.
This New England-style Hazy IPA pours a cloudy, golden-yellow with a thick, frothy white head. It features an intense sensory profile dominated by juicy, citrusy aromas of orange and tropical fruit, balanced by a light, refreshing body. On the palate, it is low in bitterness but high in hop flavour, offering a smooth and 'pillowy' mouthfeel thanks to the addition of flaked oats.
