A magnificent and extraordinarily profound Southern Italian red wine displaying a deep, concentrated ruby color with dark garnet reflections. The noble, highly complex, and expressive nose opens with an opulent bouquet of macerated black cherries, wild blackberries, and dried black plums, masterfully layered with sophisticated notes of crushed violets, sweet tobacco leaf, dark chocolate, cracked black pepper, and an underlying streak of smoky, volcanic minerality. On the full-bodied palate, it strikes a monumental balance between power and remarkable precision, matching its rich, concentrated core of dark fruit with a vibrant, refreshing acidity and a robust framework of tightly woven, fine-grained tannins that lead into an exceptionally long, seamless, and beautifully savory finish with hints of licorice root and balsamic depth.
Food Pairing: Pairs flawlessly with slow-braised lamb shanks, grilled ribeye steaks, wild boar ragù, rich truffle-infused pastas, and mature cheeses like aged Pecorino.
