The GIANT SLAYER is built for the moment the hunter realizes he's become the hunted. The chapter where the hero realizes the monster was never in the forest...it was already inside the castle. The scene where the candles die, and something ancient starts breathing just beyond the edge of the firelight.
Seriously...prepare yourself for a cigar experience unlike anything you've ever had from Ezra Zion.
GIANT SLAYER is savage and unhinged! The kind of cigar that grins while the world burns around it. (Which is exactly why we love it.)
The tobaccos are absolutely mythical...the kind of leaf people whisper about. Tobacco so rare and so perfectly aged it feels less like agriculture and more like forbidden magic.
We descended into the depths of the humidor catacombs and raided the private reserve. These tobaccos have spent years quietly evolving in perfect conditions, waiting for the right moment to be unleashed.
And now they're loose.
This is absolute FULL-THROTTLE Flavor Carnage!
GIANT SLAYER is a full-bodied, med/full-strength 6.75x54 box-pressed short-churchill. The wrapper is a 12-year-aged Sumatra Maduro leaf. Binder and filler tobaccos will remain a closely guarded secret....but they are all 5-14 years-aged.
First light detonates with an explosion of flavors! Massive waves of dark chocolate, espresso bean, black peppercorn, and rich toffee explode across the palate. Red oak, roasted cashews, aged leather, and bourbon charge in immediately behind them. Clove and butter linger long after each draw while the retrohale delivers a fierce blast of cinnamon heat.
As the cigar settles in, the complexity becomes almost supernatural. Semi-sweet chocolate chips, Madagascar vanilla bean, and toasted hazelnut emerge from the darkness. The finish reveals layers of spiced rum and cedar that seem to linger forever.
Halfway, the complexity continues to build. Cocoa, whipped cream, red pepper, and walnut appear. Blasts of nougat, earth, and malt on the finish. More complex that I can describe!
Last third, everything intensifies! Massive notes of maple wood, molasses, and dark beer. Ginger and all-spice. The burn is perfect and the cigar stays cool all the way to the lip-burning nub!
GIANT SLAYER is a masterpiece that will haunt your dreams! It drives a stake through the ordinary. I can't even bring myself to pair this cigar with anything because I don't want to interrupt the symphony of flavors from the tobaccos.
