An audacious bridge between terroir and cask.
El Tequileno “Sassenach Select” Double Wood Reposado emerges from the highlands of Jalisco, matured for two years in American oak, then refined with a four-month finish in French oak. This layered aging builds a tequila that straddles worlds—bold but elegant.
The collaboration between El Tequileno and Sam Heughan’s Sassenach Spirits is more than branding: it’s an exercise in merging tequila tradition with whisky finishing insight. The result is a spirit with a structural backbone, aromatic nuance, and whispered complexity.
Pull up a rocks glass. Let it rest briefly. The oak, caramel, and cooked agave should meld into a symphony on your tongue—neat, deliberate, alive.
