Crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave harvested in the Lowlands of Jalisco (Los Valles / Amatitán). Cooked under pressure in autoclaves, extracted via roller mill, and open-air fermented before double-distillation in stainless steel pot stills at Casa Herradura (NOM 1119). Aged for 2 months in handcrafted American white oak barrels, this high-volume 1-liter expression offers an accessible, classic profile that balances crisp cooked agave with soft toasted oak, subtle citrus, and mild pepper spice.
Food Pairing: Tacos al pastor, grilled chicken fajitas, fresh guacamole with totopos, pork carnitas, and quesadillas.
Tasting Notes : Warm golden straw hue with bright clarity and a light-to-medium body.
Nose : Cooked agave, soft oak, fresh vanilla, bright lemon zest, and subtle herbal notes.
Palate : Smooth and agave-forward with sweet cooked agave, light wood tannins, subtle vanilla, and warm black pepper spice.
Finish : Clean and crisp with a gentle fade of oak warmth, citrus peel, and lingering cooked agave.
Serve : Serve on the rocks, as a chilled shot, or as a reliable workhorse base for volume Margaritas, Palomas, and highball cocktails.
