In 1961, Faema changed espresso forever by introducing the E61 - the first machine to use a volumetric pump for consistent 9-bar extraction pressure. The E61 Legend is a faithful semi-automatic reissue of that icon. Polished stainless steel and chrome-plated brass preserve every original design detail, while the internals have been modernized with Faema's patented adjustable thermosyphon system. The lever extends contact time between water and coffee before extraction, unlocking the full organoleptic profile of every shot. Available in 1, 2, and 3 group configurations.
Features
Adjustable Thermosyphon System Faema-patented thermal balancing regulates brewing temperature by mixing heat-exchanger water with supply water. Adjust each group independently to optimize for any blend. |
Volumetric Pump The innovation that started it all. Built-in volumetric pump delivers constant 9-atmosphere pressure throughout extraction, unlike the variable pressure of lever-only machines. |
Lever Pre-Infusion The manual lever extends the contact time between water and ground coffee before full extraction begins. This pre-infusion phase enhances the expression of aroma, body, and sweetness in every shot. |
Automatic Boiler Fill Self-regulating water level management keeps the boiler ready at all times. Dual pressure gauges monitor both pump and boiler pressure in real time. |
