Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin is a handcrafted Irish gin built around gunpowder tea — slow-distilled in the village of Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim, fusing traditional Irish distilling with exotic oriental botanicals for a fragrant, boldly modern spirit.
The flagship of the Gunpowder range from The Shed Distillery, this gin takes its name from gunpowder tea — a Chinese green tea dried and rolled into small pellets that retain robust flavor and aroma. Combined with oriental botanicals and citrus over a juniper base, it produces a harmonious fusion of traditional and exotic that is both steeped in history and distinctly contemporary.
