Droin Chablis is a white wine made entirely from Chardonnay grapes sourced from the Montée de Tonnerre 1er Cru vineyard in Chablis, Burgundy. The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness and purity of fruit.
On the nose, the wine exhibits aromas of green apple, citrus, white flowers, and a hint of minerality. On the palate, the wine is dry, crisp, and refreshing with flavors of lemon, green apple, and a touch of salinity. The wine is well-structured with a medium body and a long and satisfying finish.
Overall, this a classic Chablis with a good balance of fruit and acidity. The Montée de Tonnerre vineyard is known for producing some of the finest Chablis wines, with complex flavors and a distinct mineral character. This wine pairs well with seafood, particularly oysters and shellfish, as well as chicken and light cream sauces.
