93 points, Cigar Aficionado
The Drew Estate Undercrown Sun Grown Belicoso is a highly refined, tapered masterpiece designed to express the vibrant, spicy character of this celebrated blend in a visually striking format. The sharp, pointed Belicoso head allows the smoker to customise their cut, giving them direct control over the draw resistance and channelling a concentrated, complex stream of smoke onto the palate.
The physical proportions of this vitola are engineered to deliver a focused, cool-burning experience over its entire duration. Wrapped in a naturally sweet, oil-rich Ecuadorian Sumatra Sun Grown wrapper, the binder is a robust Connecticut River Valley stalk-cut Habano leaf. This wrapper-binder combination holds together a rich filler blend of aged Nicaraguan tobaccos, incorporating a portion of rare, highly potent Nueva Segovia ligero to provide a deeply satisfying, medium-to-full-bodied smoking profile.
