A cigar that was initially crafted by the cigar makers at Drew Estate to be their very own cigar, the Undercrown by Drew Estate has emerged as a connoisseur favorite for all to enjoy. Rich, voluptuously complex and silky smooth, the Undercrown Corona Viva is an ideal everyday smoke that should be at the top of your list!
The Undercrown Corona Viva is a serenely balanced 5 5/8” x 46 cigar that is sheathed in an Otapan Negro Ultimo Corte wrapper leaf from the lush San Andreas region of Mexico. Hidden beneath is a Connecticut River Valley Stalk Cut & Cured Habano binder leaf which contains a blend of Brazilian Mata Fina and Nicaraguan Cuban Seed filler tobaccos. The result is a glorious smoke of about 45 minutes or so.
Once the Undercrown Corona Viva is afire, thick and juicy notes of hickory, licorice and earth flow onto the palate as splashes of vanilla and coffee trickle along. The medium-to-full bodied smoke picks up nuances of leather and molasses as the luxuriously creamy grand finale approaches to deliver an amazingly satisfying send-off.
The Undercrown Corona Viva by Drew Estate will please most cigar enthusiasts with its expansive depth in character and should be a shoe-in for everyday rotations. Enjoy this delectable treasure with a Porter or Stout for a velvety and adventurous treat!
