Drew Estate Blackened S84 Shade to Black – A Bold Evolution of the Connecticut
The much-anticipated follow-up to the 95-rated Blackened M81 has arrived. Blackened S84 Shade to Black continues the powerful collaboration between Metallica’s James Hetfield, Blackened Whiskey Master Distiller Rob Dietrich, and Jonathan Drew of Drew Estate. Living up to the hype of a top-rated release isn’t easy — but Drew Estate delivers once again.
This is not your traditional Connecticut cigar. Crafted with rich Maduro tobaccos from Nicaragua and the United States, the Blackened S84 introduces a deeper, more complex experience while still offering the creamy smoothness Connecticut fans love. A flawless Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper adds elegance and balance, creating a medium-bodied profile with notes of cream, dark chocolate, and subtle spice.
Perfect for fans of bold, flavorful smokes, Shade to Black pairs beautifully with whiskey — especially Blackened American Whiskey — or a strong espresso to highlight its rich core flavors.
Key Features:
Medium-bodied Connecticut with enhanced strength
Ecuadorian wrapper with Nicaraguan and US Maduro tobaccos
Creamy texture over a chocolaty, robust profile
Second release in the Blackened x Drew Estate collaboration
