Drew Estate Deadwood Leather Rose Torpedo – Sweet & Bold Premium Cigar | CigarHaus
The Drew Estate Deadwood Leather Rose Torpedo is a distinctive 5” × 54 figurado from Drew Estate’s popular Deadwood Tobacco Co. collection. Full-bodied, aromatic and unapologetically flavourful, Leather Rose combines rich tobacco character with an unmistakable underlying sweetness.
Leather Rose is one of the original Deadwood “Vixens” and offers a more sophisticated, complex expression of the unconventional Deadwood style. Drew Estate officially highlights cedar, oak, white pepper, sweetness and earth, creating a bold profile that evolves particularly well in the tapered Torpedo format.
Flavour Profile
- Cedar
- Oak
- White pepper
- Earth
- Rich tobacco
- Pronounced sweetness
- Warm spice
- Complex, lingering finish
Drew Estate describes the official taste profile as “complex and sophisticated,” with cedar, oak, white pepper, sweetness and earth, and classifies Leather Rose as full-bodied.
Why It Stands Out
Leather Rose stands apart from traditional premium cigars because of its combination of full-bodied tobacco and noticeable sweetness. That makes it particularly appealing to smokers who enjoy richer aromatic cigars but want substantially more tobacco character and complexity than a typical mild flavoured cigar.
The Torpedo’s tapered head also allows the smoker to customize the opening somewhat depending on how much is cut, while its relatively compact 5-inch length provides a substantial 54 ring gauge without requiring an exceptionally long cigar. Drew Estate officially offers Leather Rose in both Torpedo 5 × 54 and Petite Corona 4 × 43 formats.

Perfect For
A great choice for Deadwood enthusiasts, experienced flavoured-cigar smokers, after-dinner enjoyment, social occasions, golf outings, or customers who enjoy sweet cigars but still want a rich, full-bodied tobacco experience.
Pairing Suggestions
Drew Estate specifically recommends iced chai tea and American Imperial Stout with Leather Rose.
For CigarHaus customers, I’d also suggest espresso, dark-roast coffee, bourbon or aged rum. The cigar’s sweetness, oak and spice should complement drinks with vanilla, caramel or roasted characteristics particularly well.
