Wine Description
The 2023 Dr. H. Thanisch Riesling Feinherb is a 100% Riesling crafted in an off-dry style, showcasing the Mosel's signature elegance and minerality. Harvested early at Kabinett-level ripeness, the grapes are sourced from steep, slate-rich slopes, imparting a distinctive flinty character to the wine. In the glass, it presents a deep golden hue. The nose is vibrant with aromas of peach, pear, cumquat, watermelon, currant, grapefruit, and subtle hints of gooseberry and raspberry.
Food Pairing
This versatile Riesling pairs wonderfully with a variety of dishes, including light salads, seafood, Asian cuisine, chicken, and risotto. Its off-dry profile and crisp acidity also make it an excellent aperitif. Together, they create an unforgettable dining experience.
